PRIX ARTISTIQUE DE LA VILLE DE RENENS
Lauréats du Prix d'encouragement de la Ville de Renens 2016, Isabelle Baudraz et Patrick Muroni, respectivement étudiants en Bachelor Design Industriel et en Bachelor Cinéma à l'ECAL, ont fait se rejoindre leurs disciplines pour une installation commune.
Dans ce projet mêlant cinéma et design, la question du regard et du mouvement s’est imposée aux deux lauréats dans le but de proposer au spectateur une expérience intime.
La designer et l’artiste ont alors repensé le support de projection propre au cinéma afin d’interroger l’image par l’objet. C’est donc à travers une série de captations du corps humain que les supports de projection prennent vie.
Laureate of the 2016 Prix d’encouragement de la Ville de Renens, Isabelle Baudraz and Patrick Muroni, designer and filmmaker, joined their strength as their specific field merged together in this project. They created this shared installation that questions movement and the projection medium.
The exhibition allowed the spectators to wander around the objects. Those were animated by a series of video recordings of the human body which was worked in a pop and colorful spirit. The images and sounds carry the spectators in an intimate atmosphere where they can watch an endless projection as long as desired.
